Return of the Fete

It drizzled a bit but nobody cared. The village fete was back for the first time since 2019 and the hall was full. Opened by Mr Tony Liddicoat and organised as ever by Betty Jarrett, the afternoon raised more than £700 towards the insurance of St Clement for another year.

While Betty was detained in Egypt, Anita Dunstan rounded up some of the stall holders. Betty was also grateful to Erica Simpson and Stephen Horrocks for putting out the tables and dismantling them, along with Roger Inge.

Erica and Stephen were also responsible for the Dog Show, once again a howling success.
