Charlestown Regatta Week

Charlestown Regatta Week includes water sports, games and entertainment. All funds raised go towards helping to benefit the people of the village of Charlestown. The event includes a fun triathlon, raft races, donkey derby, live music and a colourful carnival. The week starts with the triathlon which involves teams of three in a 200m swim, a 4 mile cycle and 2 mile run. In the afternoon there’s water golf, a hotly contested raft race and even a fun knobbly knees contest. During the week you can watch the carnival with a traditional flora dance. To finish the week off dance the night away at the Regatta Rocks live music event.
