Charlestown village, a UNESCO world heritage site, takes centre stage as the week’s proceeding wrap around the magnificent Georgian harbour.
Charlestown Regatta Committee Co-Chairman, Terry Butler, commented “It’s exciting to announce the full programme of activities for Regatta Week 2019. Our charity triathlon, and new for this year the junior biathlon, will kick-start the week’s proceedings on Regatta Saturday (July 27th), followed by daily events every evening with the finale of week seeing three live bands take to the stage at Regatta Rocks (Friday August 2nd). Each year we’re overwhelmed by the local support and goodwill of our visitors – we can only hope everyone joins us again so heartily to make 2019 the best yet!”
