A weekend of festive entertainment, food and drink along with plenty of opportunities to pick up some great Christmas gifts in the stunning location of Fowey.
What happens?
Fowey Christmas Market is one of Cornwall’s most well-known Christmas events with a rich history of providing approx. 10,000 visitors with quality locally produced food and drink and festive gifts.
The overall event takes place throughout town with festive activities and shopping opportunities with its main draw being the Christmas Market in the stunning Fowey Town Quay and Albert Quay where there will be approximately 75 local traders covering a whole range of gifts, food and drink for Christmas shoppers.
Visitors to the event, who come from all over Cornwall, Devon and beyond, will have a massive choice of traders offering quality gifts and produce.
How can you take part?
In the main marquee on the Town Quay check out the locally made food, drink and crafts while in the Town Hall you’ll find handmade cushions, slate clocks, driftwood Christmas trees and local watercolour prints. Wander the town’s narrow street and browse the varied mix of clothes boutiques, delis and gift shops, many of which will be offering special discounts. In the evening the festive entertainment continues with many pubs hosting live music. Soak up the atmosphere and make Christmas shopping a joy rather than a trial!
Did you know?
Saturday and Sunday the Town Buses will offer transport between the car parks and market all day.
