From Withiel Parish Council

It is with great sadness that the Withiel Parish Council learnt of the death of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II.

On behalf of the residents of Withiel, my fellow councillors and clerk, I offer our sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to the Royal family.

Her Majesty The Queen was the longest serving Monarch in British History and an inspiration to us all.

Today brings an end to her lifetime of service to Great Britain which she took on at such a tender young age.

May she rest in peace.
